The BEST vegan chocolate cake ever! This is one of my favorite NON-dairy cake recipes. Rich, moist and scrumptious; this vegan cake is sure to be enjoyed by all!
1 ¼ cups organic flour (whole wheat pastry or gluten free)
2/3 cup organic coconut sugar
A few good shakes of organic cinnamon powder!
1/3 cup unsweetened organic cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda (Bob’s Red Mill)
½ tsp fine ground sea salt
1 cup filtered warm water
1 tsp vanilla extract (I use alcohol free)
1/3 cup grape seed oil or organic coconut oil
2 tsps apple cider vinegar
Preheat oven to 350
Combine all dry ingredients into a bowl
Mix in wet ingredients
Beat thoroughly with beaters until smooth
Oven for precisely 30 min
Let cool on drying rack for 1 hr
Although I prefer this cake as is, you can make your own chocolate glaze by combining: organic cocoa powder, organic confectioner sugar(the brand I use shown below) and a small amount of rice milk until you reach the right consistency. Drizzle over and enjoy!
