I’m sure, by now, you have drooled over all the amazing and easy smoothie bowl recipes on Instagram! Well, I was drooling too and that is why I started to create my own smoothie bowls in the AM. These concoctions are not only nourishing to the body but they also contain tons of anti-aging superfoods to keep you looking young, amazing and healthy 🙂

EASY SMOOTHIE BOWL RECIPE
1/4 Cup Protein Powder (Plant-based)
1/2 Large Avocado (or a banana)
1/2-1 Cup Frozen Fruit
1 Cup Califia Farms Almond Milk or Coconut Milk
Blend Until Smooth and pour into a saucer shaped bowl…
Add Your Favorite Toppings:
Organic, raw pumpkin seeds
One Degree Granola in cinnamon
Organic coconut flakes
RAW Pistachios (Nutz.com are my favorite)
Chia Seeds I like BetterBody brand
For your toppings, be sure to choose a gluten-free granola that is free of cane sugar. My current fav is One Degree’s gluten-free granola in chocolate or cinnamon. I am very sensitive to ingredients and their granola gets my approval because it is sweetened naturally with coconut.
Also, I like to balance out my smoothie bowl with crunchy, raw toppings that come from organic manufactures. Pumpkin seeds are full of iron and potassium and help to eliminate parasites from the body. This food is a great staple to incorporate into your daily diet, especially on salads.
